Liz Pitt is the Management Accountant for Digital Science. She joined Macmillan in August 2010 and is CIMA. Liz is responsible for all the accounting and reporting for Digital Science from Macmillan’s Finance department in Basingstoke.

Liz previously worked for Barclays for 10 years where she worked in the Asset Finance division. She was responsible for the reporting of all the agricultural business and liaising with Joint Venture partners. She controlled the reporting process, produced management and statutory accounts and managed the team.

Prior to working at Barclays Liz was a Primary School teacher. She taught in several Hampshire Primary schools and spent a year in Dubai. After teaching for many years she decided to make a complete change and retrained as an accountant. She had always been interested in Mathematics and attended the University of Kent at Canterbury and graduated with a BSc Hons in Mathematics (Statistics).

Liz is married with one teenage daughter and her favourite pastime is exploring the Hampshire countryside. She has travelled widely in the UK and overseas.
