Podcast: The Neuroscience of Improv with Baba Brinkman and Heather Berlin

24th May 2017
By Katy Alexander

In this podcast, we were fortunate enough to have science rapper Baba Brinkman (Rap Guide to Evolution) and neuroscientist Dr. Heather Berlin (host of “Science Goes to the Movies” on PBS) sit down with us and talk about the brain basis of improvisation and comedy.

Baba Brinkman is a Canadian rap artist and award-winning playwright. He regularly performs with his wife, Heather Berlin – a neuroscientist and renowned science communicator. During their performances they breakdown the brain and demonstrate to the audience what’s going on “under the hood” exploring the brain basis of improvisation and comedy.
