Our portfolio Altmetric is hosting a webinar this month focused on helping researchers shape the best case of impact when applying for grant funding. Experts will describe their top strategies for using altmetrics and other data to properly understand the dissemination, influence and broader impacts of their grant-funded research upon local communities, other scholars, and more. Listeners will also learn how to design workflows for collecting data that can be used to write stronger, more compelling grant applications and reports.

When: Thu, Jun 8, 2017 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM BST

Speakers

University of Sheffield’s Sarah Geere, Impact Consultant (Left) and Kate Armstrong, Evidencing Impact Project Lead (Right) will share research-backed strategies and best practices for impact evidence gathering, based on the results of the Evidencing Impact project.

Altmetric’s Stacy Konkiel (Director of Research & Education) will share general trends in impact and attention data (altmetrics) for grant funded research over time.
