Digital Science is going big for Charleston Conference 2014! We will have a permanent booth for the duration of the conference (booth number 28), where you can fill out a short form to win one of our snazzy Digital Science phone chargers, and also pick up other items of Digital Science swag! Representing Digital Science, there will be Adrian Stanley and Phill Jones from our publisher relations team, as well as many representatives from our institutional sales team.

On Thursday November 6th, at 11:30am, Phill Jones will be participating in a panel titled “Beyond the Cool Factor: Which new technology driven solutions will meet your needs.”

On Friday November 7th, at 12:45pm, Sara Rouhi from Altmetric will be moderating a panel, selected by Library Journal as one of the “must see” sessions at Charleston, titled “The Promise and Perils of “Alternative Metrics”: What Librarians Need to Know about the #altmetrics Landscape.”

Finally, on Saturday 8th November, at 11:00am, there will a complete Digital Science “Founder Stories” panel, featuring Mark Hahnel from Figshare, Stephen Leicht from UberResearch and John Hammersley from writeLaTeX.
