Join Altmetric for two upcoming workshops that will discuss and demonstrate how those working in pharma and medcomms can track the dissemination and influence of published research using altmetrics.

These workshops are dedicated to introducing pharmaceutical representatives and the wider medical community to altmetrics and Altmetric. They’ll explore the opportunities these new metrics bring for further evaluating and reporting on the online activity surrounding published research.

Whether it’s maximising the visibility of your research, uncovering its impact on public policy, or tracking the activity surrounding ongoing clinical trials, altmetrics can provide valuable insights for publication teams, marketing and communications programmes, and competitive intelligence monitoring.

Both events are free to attend and refreshments will be provided. A full schedule for both events will be available shortly.

London: 19th April

Taking place in London at the Altmetric office and organised with the support of MedComms Networking, the day (10am-4pm) will provide an introduction to altmetrics data, including customer-led case study presentations, interactive discussions and networking opportunities. Confirmed speakers so far include UCB Pharma and representatives from Pfizer.
