The popular #FuturePub event organised by Overleaf is back in London on May 10th, from 6.30pm!

You can join the Overleaf team for their seventh #FuturePub event, an evening exploring new ideas and technologies in science and publishing! And of course, alongside free beer and pizza (what more could you want)!

The aim of these events is to offer an informal opportunity for anyone working on new ideas and innovations, to present and get feedback.

This is how it works

  • Six quick-fire talks cover a range of new and exciting developments in science & publishing tech
  • These all fit into a one hour slot (from 7-8pm), to keep the evening fast-paced and fun!
  • The rest of the evening is then open for discussions and conversations over drinks – we expect a great mixture of attendees from the research, publishing and start-up communities. Plus they’ll be free pizza!
  • After the event, we usually continue the discussions at a nearby pub, until everyone’s all-talked-out 🙂

The speakers will be announced shortly, so stay tuned on the hashtag, and if you’re interested in speaking you can always propose a talk!

The event will take place at The Stables which is at the Digital Science office, it’s opposite the Springer Nature Glasshouse Building.
