The Times Higher Education Awards Ceremony 2013

29th November 2013

Last night, the Times Higher Education Awards ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Now in their ninth year, the awards celebrate the accomplishments of UK higher education institutions.

This year Symplectic sponsored the award for Research Project of the Year, and the team were out in full-force ready for the night’s entertainment. The Research Project of the Year award aims to identify pioneering research that has had an influential impact, not only in the scientific sphere, but reaching out to the public too.

Recently, Symplectic launched Dimensions a new visualisation tool allowing universities and research institutions to explore and analyse the funding landscape. Symplectic wanted to support this award to celebrate their users – researchers, whose tireless efforts make the world a better place.

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the University of Leicester for all their work – until next year’s awards.
