We’re proud to announce that our Chief Scientist, Jonathan Adams, will be taking part in a panel event taking place at Westminster this Wednesday. Jonathan and his fellow panel members will focus on answering the following questions:

How can universities contribute both locally and nationally to building a knowledge economy and thus support industry?
How will the research landscape change after Brexit, and what can we do to best support these changes?

Jonathan will draw on his vast experience and knowledge surrounding UK research and funding to best answer these questions. For those who are attending the event, please refer to the Digital Science Consultancy Team’s report, Examining Implications of Brexit for the UK Research Base, that was produced during the lead up to Brexit.

Prosperity UK is a conference that brings together leading policy makers, politicians, academics and businesspeople to chart the course for the United Kingdom once it departs from the European Union. The conference aims to both inform the media and public on the issues facing the country and to generate ideas for the government on how best to negotiate our departure. The conference will examine technical issues in detail and aims to create a positive global vision for the country across a number of vital areas including Trade, Financial Services, Industrial strategy, and Universities.
