Our friend and colleague, Prof. Jonathan Adams, will be leaving us this month to follow the late Eugene Garfield as a Director of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). His appointment to this academically-focused position is a testimony to Jonathan’s stature in the industry, and a fine tribute to his impact on the bibliometric space before and during his tenure as Chief Scientist at Digital Science.

While we will certainly miss Jonathan’s talents – not to mention his special sense of humour and finely-tuned wit – we nonetheless wish him every success in this important, influential, Clarivate-supported academic position. After many happy years of co-working at Digital Science, we look forward to working with him collaboratively on moving the field of modern research management and analytics forward.
