ÜberResearch presents a series of webinars on research classification with CASRAI

3rd March 2014
 | Katy Alexander

ÜberResearch and CASRAI are co-hosting two webinars as the first of a CASRAI Reconnect webinar series, virtually extending the annual ReConnect event.

Classifying both conducted and ongoing research is of high relevance for the planning and outcome analysis of the performance of research organizations, national research systems and the global science efforts in general. How it is done is approached in many different ways – from manual ‘stamping’ to highly sophisticated automatic approaches leveraging natural language processing and other technologies.

This series of webinars will provide an overview on different systems and use cases for the funders, research institutions and policy makers and on possible improvements to the approaches based on the experience of the ÜberResearch team – as input for a joint discussion.
