We Are Getting Ready for SciFoo!

20th June 2018
 | Amarjit Myers

Digital Science is delighted to collaborate again with Google and O’Reilly to organise the 13th annual Science Foo Camp (“Sci Foo” for short). Around 300 leading scientists, technologists, writers and other thought-leaders will again gather at Google in Mountain View, California for a weekend of unbridled discussion, demonstration and debate.

Foo Camp is an informal conference format pioneered by O’Reilly Media. There is no predefined agenda – instead, attendees collaboratively create one on the first evening with little if any boundaries to what can be discussed. Since the first O’Reilly Foo Camp in 2003, these events have become legendary and much imitated, leading to the first Science Foo Camp in the summer of 2006.

Although the event is by invitation only, see online chatter about the event via the official hashtag  #scifoo and tweets from the @digitalsci team.
