Digital Science’s Kaitlin Thaney will be keynoting this year’s OSCON – one of the largest and longest running conferences for the open source community. She joins the stage with other open source and tech greats including Danny Hillis (Applied Minds), Mark Shuttleworth (Canonical) and Tim O’Reilly (O’Reilly Media). Her talk, “The Mudslide Hypothesis of Science” will look at some of the challenges currently facing the research enterprise and posit a culture shift towards openness as a way forward.
