Responsibilities

  • Rollout security tools like antivirus, security information and event management (SIEM) software:
    • server installation and maintenance
    • define and maintain security policies
    • regular reporting and evaluation of threats
  • Define security processes and policies
  • Prepare and manage company’s security audits and certifications (e.g. ISO27001)
  • Assist in DevOps related processes:
    • Monitoring and administration of the infrastructure
    • Manage the release process for new software versions

Skills that we are looking for

  • Experience with large antivirus software (e.g. McAfee) deployments
  • Experience with security audits and certifications (e.g. ISO27001)
  • Linux administration and shell scripting

Nice to have

  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g. AlienVault)
  • Knowledge of Python programming language
  • Knowledge of docker application containers and orchestrating software
  • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, Route53, RDS, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in a DevOps, software development, or SysAdmin role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Desire to learn and improve while keeping things as simple as possible
  • Strong communication skills
