About the role

We are looking for somebody with a marketing analytics or web analytics background to take on an exciting new role. This is a varied role that spans multiple website architectures and UX analysis. 

We are looking for someone to come in, simplifying and demystifying Analytics, so business users can mostly self serve and really understand their own data. This position is open to remote home offices anywhere in the US and UK.

Some of the activities (high-level)

  • Digital Tool Management, including Google Optimise, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Hotjar, Google My Business
  • Infrastructure design and implementation of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimize, Search Console and Data Studio 
  • Improve internal techniques, processes, documentation and quality assurance
  • Provide reporting and insights on traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Build attribution models and develop retargeting campaigns to drive usage 
  • Be a passionate subject matter expert on digital marketing, digital measurement, web analysis (inc. web analytics, app tracking, audience strategy, incremental revenue), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Drive performance of analytics and optimization capabilities to impact overall business results

Further skills and qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, both web and apps, is required
  • Hands-on experience working with analytics and experience optimization solutions, ranging from auditing, campaign ideation, definition, setup, launch and reporting, measurement implementations, data analysis
  • Experience in unearthing insights and forming optimization recommendations 
  • Effective communication skills — the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders in a clear and timely manner both verbally and in writing
  • Eager and willing to learn new things
