Emerald Partners with Peerwith to Expand its Portfolio of Author Services
Emerald Publishing was founded in 1967 to champion new ideas that would advance the research and practice of business and management. Today they announce a new partnership with our new portfolio company Peerwith – a marketplace for author services.
Beginning their 50th year in publishing, Emerald understands the importance of ensuring its author and editor community have the ability to connect with like-minded academics. To ensure the best quality research is published, it is important that they have the ability to gain access to support services such as: scientific editing; translation services; statistical support; copy editing; funding application support; visuals and publication support – along with other fundamental services.
Directing Emerald authors to Peerwith’s services will enhance their existing journey from initial research to final publication, supporting the information sharing of academics globally – ensuring their research has impact within their field of expertise.
Harriet Bell, Marketing Director at Emerald says of the news:
“Emerald is committed to supporting and nurturing the research community, particularly in their goal to publish their work quickly, and in as engaging a format as possible. We know that the journey from funding, to writing, to publication and wider dissemination can be daunting. Our aim is to make that as easy as possible and to offer as much help as possible along the way. We’re delighted to partner with Peerwith to offer a range of author services which are easily accessible.”
Joris van Rossum, co-founder of Peerwith adds:
“We’re confident that our innovative approach to author services will help them become more successful and effective in publishing their scholarly work.”
