Overview
Across a day and a half, we will combine practical sessions, product updates, and community-led perspectives. The programme is designed to move from repository and data management through to research reporting, insight, and impact, with contributions from Symplectic Elements, Dimensions, and Altmetric.
You will hear directly from institutions in the region and the Digital Science team, with time built in for discussion, questions, and peer exchange.
The meeting will take place in advance of the Stellenbosch Library Symposium.
What we will cover
- Managing and sharing research outputs at scale
- Strengthening research workflows and reporting
- Connecting systems across the research lifecycle
- Improving institutional visibility and demonstrating impact
What to expect
- Practical, use-case led sessions grounded in real institutional challenges
- Clear examples of how Figshare and Elements work together in practice
- Insights into emerging trends in open research, reporting, and impact
- Opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from peers
By the end of the conference you will have a clearer view of how to evolve your current approach to research data, reporting, and visibility, and where Digital Science can support that journey.
