Welcome to TL;DR Shorts

16th January 2024

When we launched TL;DR, we promised to bring you short, sharp insights from across the research community on the topics you care about.

In this vein, we’re thrilled to launch TL;DR Shorts – a series of bite-sized interviews with experts and influential figures from diverse fields within the research landscape and beyond. From cutting-edge breakthroughs to ethical dilemmas, each video in this playlist is a quick journey into the minds of those at the forefront of their respective fields.

Kicking us off we hear from Dr Amy Brand, Director and Publisher at MIT Press, on the AI hype, its potential, and how to use this new technology for good and not for evil.
