SpotOn London 2016 – Our Video Highlights #SpotOn16
For those of you that don’t know, SpotOn London brings together three strands of discussions – policy, outreach and tools – in a single day event. If you sadly missed this year’s event, then you can read our summary of the event.

Below you can find the recording of Ivan Oransky’s, co-founder of Retraction Watch, session where he joined us online via a webcam. Ivan disuccsed reasons for the increase in retractions over the last decade and why the future of peer review must embrace post-publication peer review:
Another highlight was a panel discussion that challenged and debated the role of preprints and the transparency in the movement of data. The panel feaured: Frank Norman – The Crick Institute, Ed Gerstner – Nature Research, Cat Williams – Altmetric, Tiago Barros -F1000 and Mimi Keshani – Figshare. They came together for a vibrant and thought-provoking debate:
