Digital Science provides software and information to support researchers and research administrators in their everyday work, with the ultimate aim of making science more productive through the use of technology. As well as developing our own solutions, we also invest in promising start-ups and other partners, working closely with them to help them realise their full potential.
We are a business unit of Macmillan Publishers Ltd. and our activities build on the reputation for editorial and technological excellence of its sister company, Nature Publishing Group (NPG). While building on NPG’s high-quality, innovative approach, we will focus on technology-based solutions for research rather than scientific content.
The Digital Science team brings together a wide range of expertise in science and technology, and is led by Timo Hannay, former digital publishing director of Nature.com. Visit our “Meet the Team” page for more on who we are.
The activities of Digital Science combine in-house software development and domain expertise with technologies and services created in collaboration with a range of world-class partners, including academic research groups, start-up businesses and established companies. If you are interested in working with us, please send an email. If you are seeking an investment partnership, please see this page first.
