Loughborough University – Executing a workflow to meet a funder mandate and raise research visibility in the process

Webinar: June 23rd, 3.30 BST (10.30am EST)

Gary Brewerton, IT Middleware Manager, and Dr Gareth Cole, Research Data Manager are part of a cross-functional team at Loughborough University that have implemented an innovative research data management solution combining Figshare for institutions, Arkivum/100 and Symplectic Elements.

The solution helps researchers efficiently meet the terms of the EPSRC mandate for open access to data and for long-term data retention, and increases the visibility internationally of all the high quality research coming out of the institution.

Gary and Gareth will join Figshare Founder Mark Hahnel, and Arkivum CTO Matthew Addis to discuss Loughborough’s strategy and how the deployment has gone so far.
