#AskJohnOverleaf: Dr Hammersley, Overleaf Co-founder, Answered Your Questions on Reddit
Yesterday, Dr John Hammersley, co-founder of Overleaf, took part in a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” on /r/science, Reddit’s science subreddit. His submission focussed on his career transition from academia to industry and then to starting up his own company within an academic industry. You can go back and view the thread here.
John’s Ask Me Anything got a lot of attention, with lots of thoughtful and interesting questions. As things stand, his submission has had over 1700 upvotes and 180 comments. The questions dealt with a great variety of topics, from his favourite Overleaf features and mathematical theorems to open science and the future of publishing.
