The webinar will cover:

In the pre-digital era, the scope of interaction between publishers and the majority of researchers was necessarily limited. While there have always been editors and relationships with learned societies, for the most part, publishers only interacted with researchers between the points of submission and publication – a very small portion of the research workflow. When the internet arrived, we first began exploring downstream interaction with usage stats, metrics, and data sharing. Today, publishers are beginning to go upstream, before the point of manuscript submission in ways that can build even stronger relationships between publishers and the researchers they serve.

Other speakers include:

Dawn Melley, Director of Editorial Services, IEEE
