eResearch New Zealand
In 2020, the theme for eReserach New Zealand is of United in Data, which will highlight the challenges and solutions associated with the management, sharing, analysis and visualisation of data; issues that are of fundamental importance across the breadth of the research landscape. In particular, they will bring together data-focused researchers across disciplines and communities who are exploring the ways that data science and associated technologies can be used to support and advance research outcomes in NZ and internationally.
We are delighted that Altmetric representative, Stephanie Guichard, will be attending and speaking at this event in Dunedin! Don’t miss her session: “Data-intensive approaches to finding and predicting research outcomes for New Zealand health research”, which takes place at 11am on Friday 14 February.
Stephanie joined Digital Science after six years as Online Account Manager for Nature Publishing Group and Palgrave Macmillan (Macmillan Science & Education). She was responsible for managing all online journals and eBook sales in Australia for the academic, government and corporate markets. She won the first Macmillan Talent Exchange program back in 2014 and spent two weeks in London learning about Digital Science and its portfolio companies.
Stephanie graduated with a triple major in Literature, Philosophy and History, specializing in medieval French literature and history. She grew up in New York and Singapore, eventually settling in Melbourne and has family spread throughout the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
